Transfer content to the device

Before you begin

• Create a Garmin Account (On the web)

  • It will be used for Cloud storage

• XT users

  • Install the Drive app to your Smartphone

  • Connect your XT to the 'Garmin Drive' app

  • Install the Garmin Explore app to your smartphone (Login with your Garmin account)

• XT2 users

  • Install the Tread app to your Smartphone

  • Connect the XT to the ‘Garmin Tread’ app

  • Install the Garmin Explore app to your smartphone (Login with your Garmin account)

• Setup your XT for use with 'Garmin Explore' app (Should be the case by default)

• When using Routes (Optional and Not for A to B)

  • In the XT  'Settings' 'Navigation' set the 'Off Route Calculation' to 'Off' 

• Chromebook users(ChromeOS)

  • Install the Explore App to your Chromebook

  • Currently the Tread app is not available in Play Store
